Baker & McKenzie Scholarship – Beijing 2011
Baker & McKenzie is accepting applications for scholarships to be awarded to law students attending selected universities in Beijing (two scholarships per university) for the current academic year. Full-time postgraduate students (major in Company Law, Commercial Law, Economic Law, International Law or Intellectual Property Law preferred) and full-time undergraduate students are eligible to apply.
RMB 10,000 will be awarded to students who successfully demonstrate the following qualities:
- Academic merit as shown in their LLB or LLM degree
- Outstanding social contributions
- Participation in extra-curricular activities
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Originality and incisiveness of their written work
- Fluency in oral and written English
Applicants should apply through our online application system by visiting Http://fsr.cvmail.com.au/bakerandmckenziehk/ and submit the completed online application form on or before 15 March 2011.
Successful applicants in the first round will be contacted and requested to come to the Beijing office of Baker & McKenzie for an interview. Applicants may consider their application unsuccessful if no arrangement for interview is made before 10 April 2011.
Scholarship winners will be given priority for summer internship openings.
