Programme Overview
CBL International Australia Summer Institute at UNSW is a 2-week Business and Legal English programme giving students a great opportunity to attend lectures focusing on spoken as well as written business and legal English. The material is delivered at a level which can help students to prepare for the IELTS test however an IELTS test enrolment or qualification is not necessary to participate in ASI. To further improve their English language skills, participants are also invited to attend a large selection of lectures focusing on various relevant topics in the areas of international business law and international economics.
Upon completion of the course, applicants will improve their ability to comprehend and communicate with the language in both formal and colloquial forms.
Study Cost
5400 $AUS (inclusive tuition fee, accommodation fee, full board, visits & excursions, visa service fee, and international air ticket)

It is essential not only to learn the theory of language and culture, but also to experience some of the important practical and historical aspects of Australian culture. Therefore included in the programme is a trip to the Blue Mountains which border Sydney’s metropolitan area, visit the Taronga Zoo, and get up close and personal with koalas, kangaroos and other native Australian animals, watch surfers on Bondi Beach and enjoy the sunshine during Chinese winter. (Note: All of the above mentioned courses are subject to possible changes).
Certificate and Academic Transcript
The certificate is co-signed by the University of New South Wales (UNSW), member of Australia’s ‘Group of Eight’ network of elite universities. CBL International Australia Summer Institute at UNSW is a certificate programme that may be accountable for optional credits depending on the requirements of the home institution/school/university.
The Academic Transcript will show the courses chosen and attended by each delegate. It will indicate the workload of courses as well the results of exams and assignments. Combining lecture time, preparation, study time, and tests, each week is designed to be equivalent to 2 - 3 ECTS credits or 1 - 1.5 US credits. Each week delegates are invited to participate in one examination.
